Kirstin Card, LMT

Owner & Massage Therapist

Kirstin is a licensed massage therapist with more than 12 years of experience and a background in personal training and teaching group fitness. She completed the Massage Therapy program at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, and owned and ran her own practice in Gresham, Oregon from 2014 before relocating to the Kansas City area. She now sees clients in Olathe, in her own treatment room inside Vitality Chiropractic & Family Wellness.

Her approach is therapeutic first: every session starts with what is actually going on in your body and what you want to be able to do. Where you feel pain is not always where the problem begins, so she looks at the whole picture. Whether you are training for a race, recovering from an injury or surgery, sitting at a desk all day, or carrying more stress than you would like, the work is tailored to get you there.

Coming from the fitness world means she understands the full picture — how you move, how you train, and how bodywork fits into the rest of your routine. And when what you need is to slow down, a Swedish session is built for exactly that.

“Massage is not just a luxury. It’s a way to a healthier, happier life.”

The approach

What a session with Kirstin looks like

01

Start with the goal

What hurts, what you are training for, what you want to be able to do again. The session is built around the answer — not a fixed routine.

02

Use the right tools

Sports and deep tissue techniques, Swedish strokes, gua sha, assisted stretching — whatever gets the result. Pressure is always your call.

03

Leave with a plan

A fitness background means you get honest guidance on mobility, recovery, and how often to come back — not a sales pitch.
